The Kitchen's Katana


Etymology: 三徳 santoku, the three virtues, from 三 san: three + 徳 -toku: virtue.

Japan is known for crafting the most practical swords: 
The Katana — Agile, Balanced, and Sharp.

The Santoku is the Katana equivalent in the Kitchen.
